vacuum robot and Mop
A relative newcomer to the robot vacuum space, Narwal offers a sweeping and mopping system that's impressive. However, it's expensive and is hampered by a clunky application with a steep learning curve.
Drop a detergent sheet into the tank for clean water at the base station to mop. Then, it spins the pads with clean water, scouring floors with 10N of pressure.
The following are a few examples of
The Narwal T10 robot vacuum can clean and scrub hard floors. Its intelligent navigation and mapping system is based upon simultaneous localization (SLAM) technologies. It also comes with anti-collision, anti-cliff-sensing and cliff-sen technologies that keep the machine from falling down stairs or hitting furniture. It also detects and avoid rugs. This is a common problem for many robot vacuum/mop/hybrids.
The robot has two huge water tanks: one to keep clean water and one for dirty. Before a mopping run it will automatically go to its base station and soaks its pads with the clean water from the tank. During the mopping process sensors notify you when it's time to swap out the pads and refill the water. It consumes 16 ounces of water, which is less water than most robots.
After you've cleaned the dirt off the mop pads the T10 returns to its base station and auto-dry the pads to prevent cross-contamination. Then, it resumes the mopping task the same way it stopped. This will eliminate the necessity of washing your hands by hand, which is great because it shields you from germs and allergens. This self-cleaning function is unique to Narwal since most rival robot vacuums and mops simply dip their mop heads into buckets of dirty water.
The T10's mopping function is powered by a motor that rotates the pad three times per second. This gives a more thorough clean particularly around corners and around edges. The rotating pad is coupled with two side brushes to sweep hair, dirt, and other debris into the slot. This eliminates the necessity for a dustbin and is much more environmentally sustainable than traditional vacuuming.
You can create a map for your area and mark specific areas to sweep or mop. The app also allows you to select the intensity of cleaning levels, including a deep clean, which removes lingering debris and dirt for a more thorough job. You can also set up "no-go zones" to tell the robot not to go over area rugs and other obstacles.
Design
Robot vacuums are a great way to keep your home clean, hygienic and tidy. They can reach and clean up areas that aren't accessible to traditional vacuums, for instance under furniture. They also get rid of dirt, allergens and germs which could make you sick. You can program them to clean according to a specific schedule so that you don't need to be worried about forgetting to do it. They can also be used in places that people can't, such as under the kitchen sink or in the corners of the house. They're dust bunny eradicators and keep your floors clean of dirt and germs.
Narwal is different than other robot vacuums on market in that it's an upright mopping machine with a vacuuming feature added on. The huge water tanks allow it to sweep vast areas of your floor without having to worry about emptying the tank. It has mopping modes where you can choose from different levels of intensity to get rid of stubborn stains.
The robot's navigation is powered by LIDAR and SLAM technology, which allows it to create maps of your home. It can then use those to guide it around your home, drawing out a zig-zag cleaning route that ensures a thorough cleaning and prevents cross-contamination. It also has anti-collision sensors and cliff sensors to stop it from colliding with tables or falling down stairs.
Narwal T10 is controlled by voice commands or the Narwal app similar to other robotic vacuums. The Narwal T10 has small LED screens that shows the current status. Two buttons that are touch-sensitive are located on the opposite side of the vacuum. They can be used to control docking, creating maps, and to stop and start. You can alter your cleaning options and schedule your mopping through the app.
It also has an option to switch between vacuuming and mopping modes, which is useful in the event that your floors are dirty and you need to clean up quickly. It has an 1800-pa motor which is efficient at sucking up dirt however, it struggles to get rid of debris from carpets and rug.
Performance
The Narwal Freo is a great robot that does an amazing job of cleaning hard floors. Its huge water tanks are easy to maintain, and it comes with a range of mopping intensity settings. It can also remove small spills and messes left on carpet. The vacuuming capabilities aren't quite as impressive, but. The vacuum power of 1,800Pa is below that of more expensive robovacuums like the Roborock MaxV Ultra.

The Freo's smart technology for navigation and mapping gives it the ability to adapt to the environment and plan an optimized cleaning program. It utilizes simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) to create an image of its surroundings. It works in a zig-zag style to ensure a uniform finish and prevent cross-contamination. It is then able to share this map using the narwal app so you can modify cleaning settings and establish no-go zones that will stop it from sweeping or mopping certain areas.
Once it's marked, once it's mapped, the Freo can then automatically begin cleaning where it left off. Its mops are self-cleaning, and they return to their docks after each use for rinsing and drying. This saves time and keeps hands free from dirt and allergens. The Freo also conserves water by using only 16 ounces of water each mopping cycle, which is about as much as you'd find in a large-sized coffee mug.
This robot can effortlessly switch between mopping and vacuuming. It's a great choice for people who have both types of equipment in their home. Its sweeping skills are excellent, and it does a great job of removing pet hair, dust, and other debris. The Freo's dual side brushes allow it to reach into corners more effectively than single-brush vacuums, and its cliff-sensing and anti-collision features assist in preventing it from getting stuck on the stairs or crashing into furniture.
The Narwal T10 is more expensive than the majority of its rivals, despite being a good vacuum/mop unit. The Narwal T10's huge base station houses two 1.3 gallon tanks that have to be replenished often. This can be a hassle particularly if your robot has tanks that fill up faster. Its app is also a mess and a hassle and doesn't have the kinds of features for customization that you'd expect from a more expensive robot.
App
The Narwal robot mop and vacuum is an exceptional machine among the numerous all-in-one robovacs and mops that are available. While many others boast impressive vacuuming skills with a mopping feature the T10 was created to be a self-cleaning two-in-1 machine from the ground up. Its mopping, sweeping and other features are very efficient and simple to control using the narwal mobile application. The buttons on the base station permit manual adjustments in the middle of cleaning.
The narwal robot vacuum is powered by Lidar and SLAM technologies that make it one of the most intelligent cleaning machines available. It uses its sensors to identify your home's layout and then converts that information into a precise cleaning plan for your floors. This is a great feature, and it can help the T10 not to get lost and keeps track of its work while working in your home.
Another distinctive feature of the Narwal is that it can map out "no-go zones." Set up no-go zones in the app to have the T10 beware of certain areas during cleaning. This is useful if you want to stay clear of the T10 mopping or vacuuming on areas rugs.
The T10's auto-cleaning feature is also impressive. It will periodically return to docking station, and clean and resoak all of its mopping pads. The system for cleaning pads stops the mop from being submerged in dirty water, and keeps it free of germs between mopping sessions.
The narwal mop has also been made with a triangular design that covers a larger area, and allows to provide a more thorough clean in corners and small spaces. The two side brushes assist in trapping dirt and hair and remove it from the floor before it can clog your vacuum or drain the battery.
Narwal is unlike most other robotic vacuums because it doesn't come with a powerful beater to remove dirt and other debris from carpets. It relies instead on its advanced sensors to recognize and clean difficult surfaces like wet spots or stains. The Narwal mop and vacuum are also extremely energy efficient. This makes it a great choice for late night cleaning. The high-efficiency motor also minimizes the noise level.
